Lima City Tour (Modern, Colonial And Santo Domingo Convent) – 03H 30M Tour.

In the morning, you will tour the city of Lima visiting its best attractions in its three historical periods.

Modern Lima: We will make a stop at the Intihuatana Park, located on the Miraflores Boardwalk, there you will enjoy the beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. Then we will begin our tour through the modern residential neighborhoods of Miraflores and San Isidro. From the outside you will appreciate the Huaca Pucllana, a pre-Inca ceremonial temple in the shape of a pyramid that survived the urban expansion of Lima. The tour will continue towards the Olivar Park and the Financial Center.

Colonial Lima: We will continue this wonderful experience with a visit to the Historic Center of Lima, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1991, place where the center of the Spanish colony was established in the 16th century and where the first buildings were built. We will visit the Plaza San Martín, and we will marvel at its balconies and old mansions, the Plaza de Armas with its important buildings such as the Government Palace, the Cathedral of Lima, the Archbishop's Palace, the Municipal Palace, the Desamparados Station, among others.

Santo Domingo Convent: We will head to one of the most important convents of the 17th century where relics of the three important Peruvian saints Santa Rosa de Lima, San Martin de Porres and San Juan Macías are preserved. We will finish our tour with the option of staying at the Indian Market, in Larcomar or returning to the hotel.
