Sacred Valley of the Incas – Aguas Calientes (Pisaq, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo) – 8-hour tour
On this day, you will get to know the wonderful Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will start the day visiting the archaeological complex of Pisaq, located at the top of a mountain. This wonderful place is formed by groups of terraces and architectural structures scattered along the slopes and at the top of the mountain. It mixes the landscape with wonderful constructions.
Next, we will go to the artisan market, where you can appreciate a great variety of works from ancestral times. We will pass through Urubamba, where we will stop for lunch; there, we will taste the typical Peruvian cuisine, with a good variety of dishes, including salads, soups, main courses, the famous ceviche, and delicious desserts.
After lunch, we will visit the architectural complex of Ollantaytambo, a living settlement built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it against possible invaders. We will have the opportunity to walk through its streets and get a clearer idea of what this military, religious, and cultural center was like during the Inca Empire. After the visit, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes. Upon your arrival, the hotel representative will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel.

Machu Picchu Day – Cusco (2.5-hour tour)
In the morning, at the agreed time, our guide will pick you up at your hotel to head to the bus station, where we will ascend 400 m along a zigzagging path for 30 minutes to reach the incredible wonder of the world, “The Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu,” also known as “The Lost City of the Incas”. Upon arriving at the citadel of Machu Picchu with our guide, we will show the entrance tickets and we will begin the tour throughout the citadel.
For approximately two and a half hours, we will visit the main places such as the Main Square, the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Solar Clock known as “Intiwatana”, the royal quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the Temple of the Condor, among many other attractions that the wonder of “Machu Picchu” has.
At the end of the guided tour, our guide will leave you in an area where you can take photographs. In the afternoon, we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to enjoy your lunch in one of the many restaurants or, if you prefer, at the Sanctuary Lodge (lunch is on your own).
After lunch, we will board the return train to Ollantaytambo (depending on the availability of the train departure time); the return will follow the same route as the outbound journey.
